Service Fee Disclosure
This disclosure explains how service fees may apply when Flight Travel Assist provides booking-related assistance. Our goal is to make any applicable service charge clear before you authorize a transaction.
Clear Before Payment
Any applicable service fee should be disclosed before a customer authorizes payment.
No Hidden Charges
Flight Travel Assist does not add undisclosed extra booking fees to a completed transaction.
Supplier Charges Are Separate
Airline taxes, fare differences, baggage charges, seat fees, and other supplier costs are separate from our service fee.
1. What Is a Service Fee?
A service fee is a charge that may apply for travel-related assistance provided in connection with a reservation, change, cancellation, refund request, or other booking support.
The exact amount, if any, can depend on the type of service requested, the complexity of the itinerary, the airline or supplier involved, and the work required to process the request.
2. When a Service Fee May Apply
A service fee may apply in situations such as:
- Assistance with creating a new flight reservation.
- Processing eligible flight changes or reissues.
- Assisting with cancellation requests.
- Helping submit or follow up on eligible refund requests.
- Providing booking-related support that requires manual processing or coordination with a travel supplier.
3. Disclosure Before Authorization
If a service fee applies, the fee should be disclosed before the transaction is finalized. Customers should have an opportunity to review the applicable amount before authorizing payment.
4. Airline and Supplier Charges
Service fees charged by Flight Travel Assist are separate from charges imposed by airlines, airports, government authorities, payment providers, or other travel suppliers.
Examples of third-party charges may include:
- Base airfare and taxes.
- Airline change or cancellation penalties.
- Fare differences resulting from itinerary changes.
- Baggage, seat-selection, or special-service fees.
- Government taxes and airport charges.
- Other airline or supplier-imposed amounts.
5. Changes and Cancellations
When a customer requests a change or cancellation, additional airline or supplier penalties may apply in addition to any separately disclosed service fee.
Eligibility and final charges depend on the rules attached to the ticket and the airline or supplier involved.
6. Refund Requests
Refund eligibility is determined by the airline or supplier and the conditions of the purchased fare. If a service fee applies to refund-related assistance, it should be disclosed before processing where applicable.
Airline penalties, previously disclosed fees, or non-refundable fare components may affect the final refund amount.
7. Payment and Charge Description
Depending on the booking arrangement, a customer may see separate charges from an airline, travel supplier, fulfillment partner, or other authorized service provider. Where possible, the nature of applicable charges should be explained during the booking process.
8. No Guarantee of Airline Pricing
Airfares and availability can change at any time before ticket issuance. Any service fee is separate from the airline fare and does not guarantee that a particular fare, seat, or itinerary will remain available.
9. Questions About a Fee
If you have questions about a fee shown or discussed during a booking, change, cancellation, or refund request, contact us before authorizing the transaction.
